Backed by an associate degree in business administration and management from Farmingdale State College, Mark E. Petersen holds more than 25 years of experience in sales and leadership roles. He commenced his career in 1995 as a senior account executive at NYNEX, remaining until 1998. In the late 1990s he went on to serve in the same capacity for AT&T and excelled as a branch sales manager for NET2000 Communications between 1997 and 2001.
In 2001, Mr. Petersen co-founded GlobalTel Communications, a telecommunication consulting and auditing company. He thrived as vice president of sales and operations, enabling his company to also provide both voice and data services to medium and large-sized corporations around the globe. In 2014, he also co-founded American Telephone Company, a CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier), where he served as vice president of sales and operations until 2018 when the company was sold to a large publicly held telecommunications provider.
Mr. Petersen was briefly part of the executive leadership team as a consultant for Vitralogy until 2019 when he became vice president of sales at CyberSafe Solutions that same year. In this current position, he is responsible for developing and managing collaborative partnerships with major organizations, as well as contributes to the overall strategic marketing campaigns of the company. Notably, Mr. Petersen is the recipient of an Accelerator Award and Over-Achievement Awards for Sales. A member of the American Business Association, he attributes his professional success thus far to honesty and hopes to grow CyberSafe Solutions into a $200 million organization.
